The signage problem is the same all across the Swiss resorts. Compared to the French Alps they have completely removed the Green piste designation (really helpful for amateurs) and the signs don't count down the length of the piste so you're not sure when you're getting close to the end.

I haven't skiied since 1999. I see in videos how there is less snow since the 80s. I still believe this is a natural change in planet's climate.. 25,000 years ago, the entire planet was a snowball, so I believe that this is just something we are seeing. No amount of government taxes is going to change what is happening.

Don't go off trail. There are reasons why they are marked as such. Else you can create an avalanche and all the damages WILL be coming out of your pocket and your insurance will not cover it, if there are are deaths you will be in worse trouble. Also if you go off trail and the snow gives way making you fall your derriere in a crevice emergency personnel/ search and rescue will have to get you out, also on your dime. So STICK TO THE FCKING TRAILS. Most of European people adhere to it but ESPECIALLY americans and chinese tend to forget that.

Bro I have to disagree, Mt Rose's terrain is great. Yea the chutes are awesome but so is hitting the traverse to around the world, catching a view of the lake on the way and riding into a bunch of options between forest and slopes. Can't discount the rest just cuz it's not the chutes.

It sounds like skiing in Europe is some kind of extreme sport - especially the off-piste part. If a place is known to be dangerous, there are warnings and/or precautions, but we don't mark everything where you could get hurt. And obviosly mountain slopes in ski resorts are checked for avalanche danger, if only because an avalanche could endanger the slopes and valley areas if it progressed too far. But of course, it's still not a bad idea to find out how to recognize avalanche danger and knowing what to do if you get caught in one. There are a few ather points in the video I also dont agree with, but this was the biggest one.

That's like a weeks worth of lifts in Sweden and Norway... also when it comes to Europe, don't think of it as resorts, there are a few "resorts" but typically it's actual towns where people live AND work. Not like a theme park only open during season and only habited by guests and workers.
